lisarahmat:

It was really awesome watching colleagues enjoy the video I made. They laughed so much and at the end gave such a loud and long applause that I felt all bashful. I’d say they even gave me a standing ovation but it was standing room only to begin with. I also got fanmail afterwards! No proposals though.

Really wonderful to see my work celebrated and appreciated like that. *happy sigh*

I just can’t help it. I hate the world. I wish things were different.

I wish I could get pregnant. I wish my job didn’t blow. I wish my mother wasn’t draining what little life I have out of me.

I can say without a bit of doubt, I do have a darling husband. I have a perfect best friend. We are…

J.C.’s specialty is entertainment which has not only been his fascination, but his passion. He is an actor, composer, lyricist, musician and entertainer. He has been designated by the Oklahoma Arts Council as a member of the Oklahoma Touring Artists Roster for FY2009/2010. His is also on the Mid-America Arts Alliance Regional Touring Program for a six-state region as an entertainer. He recently performed a 1-hour show for the Governor of Oklahoma at the Governor’s mansion grounds.

A former instructor of music at the University of Houston, High Eagle has performed his music around the nation and the world introducing it to a wide genre of places and audiences, and yes, even symphony audiences!

He accomplished 20 performances with the Milwaukee Symphony, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and 19 solo performances with the National Symphony Orchestra at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

A professional guitarist for many years, he is equally proficient on the keyboard synthesizer and American Indian flute. High Eagle was featured as a composer and musician for soundtrack music to the first three CBS television series, “Walker, Texas Ranger,” starring Hollywood actor Chuck Norris.

J.C. was a featured as an actor and musician for 20 stage performances of the Broadway musical, “MAKIN’ WHOOPEE ” with great reviews. Also as an actor, he was in the ABC Suspense Movie of the Week, “HOUSTON, WE’VE GOT A PROBLEM”, starring Robert Culp, produced by Universal Studios, Hollywood, California.

A pro member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), he has 192 registered musical compositions to his credit, has freshly completed a new country CD demo of original songs, KEEPIN’ IT COUNTRY. Some of his compositions have been transcribed and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The mark of a good songwriter, his music connects with the listener emotionally. A seasoned pure country artist who is more than merely an entertainer — he is deeply interested in people. He has much appeal because his listeners have been there, identifying with the same feelings, emotions and experiences.

Born in Oklahoma, the heart of country music, J.C. plays on the heart as well as the guitar, presenting his songs and music as he feels from within. For all their simplicity, his music and writing bubble with fresh ideas about things-imaginative ideas about love, humor, a time, a place-things in everyday life of the common man or woman. A committed musician, he brings a new slant to country music with a new twist to old themes.

The sound of his guitar, real country music and heart-felt songs are sometimes a blending of both traditional and contemporary melodies that permeate the soul and cry for attention to be heard. They seek to bring to the world something fresh and unique yet “commercial”. His music has consistently been reviewed with highest evaluations on the ASCAP Networking web site.”

In 10 years I will be 36 years old.

I can definitely say that by 36 I will be a full-time entrepreneur. I can say that with complete affirmation. In addition to helping my Mom run her shop (because I’m speaking entrepreneurship in her future), I…

Day 10 - Discuss your first love and first kiss.

My first love and I met at a party when I was a freshman in college. It was a decent relationship. It went on for a good 3 years or so. I loved him. But I don’t really feel so inclined to talk about it too much because the past is the past.
